​In the aftermath of last year’s Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Task Force X launches a plan to develop hybrid Titans that Amanda Waller can control to guard against future Titan attacks on our Earth. To stop Task Force X, the Justice League travels to Legendary Earth and must face the dangers of the Hollow Earth, Kong, and Godzilla, King of the Monsters!

This Titan-size threat will require a Titan-size response, and the Justice League will fight fire with fire, as readers will see “titanized” versions of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains facing off against Kong, Godzilla, and other Legendary monsters. In addition to new Titans from the Legendary Comics Monsterverse, the series will also feature the comic book return of Col. Lee Shaw, who first appeared in the 2014 graphic novel Godzilla: Awakening.

Following last year’s announcement at New York Comic Con, DC and Legendary Comics today revealed additional details on the upcoming Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 limited series, including new variant covers and a first look at interior art by series artist Christian Duce and colorist Luis Guerrero.

Duce reunites with writer Brian Buccellato for this seven-issue sequel to the acclaimed series that continues the battle between the Super Heroes of the DC Universe and the Titans of Legendary Comics’ Monsterverse. The debut issue of Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 will be available for preorder at participating comic book shops Friday, March 21, and go on sale Wednesday, June 4. Issue #1 features a main cover by series artist Duce, with variant covers by Dan Mora, Alan Quah, Gabriel Hardman, John Giang, Kevin Maguire, and Carlos D’Anda.

Titan Comics and Legendary Comics are excited to announce that the Monsterverse expansion continues with RETURN TO SKULL ISLAND, a brand-new comic book series set in Legendary’s Skull Island: The Animated Series universe (currently streaming on Netflix). Issue #1 will debut in comic shops on June 4, 2025, featuring a cover by superstar artist Inhyuk Lee, bringing fans deeper into the world of Kong and the mysteries of Skull Island. The first issue will be solicited in the April edition of Diamond PREVIEWS, and fans can pre-order from their local comic shop and Forbidden Planet for UK & Europe. 
 
Set against a backdrop of giant monsters and deadly intrigue, the comic follows a group of survivors stranded on the perilous island in the South Pacific. As they uncover its dark secrets, they face life-threatening challenges and fight for survival in a land where every creature is a threat—including Kong himself. The series is written by Simon Furman (Transformers) and illustrated by Christopher Jones (Doctor Who: Once Upon a Time Lord).
